STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO BULLY!

WORDS CAN HURT!

If someone is making fun of you, remember that everyone is different. Sometimes you can see what is different about someone, and sometimes you can’t. You are the way you are-and that makes you a unique person. Everyone thinks that they have flaws about their looks……EVEN BULLIES!!! Don’t worry about what a bully says to you. Words from a bully are meant to hurt you and make you feel bad about yourself. Bullies usually do not feel good about themselves. That is why they try to hurt you, and to make you look weak in front of others. You should feel sorry for a bully.

THE BEST DEFENSE

If you are afraid of being hurt physically by a bully, the best defense is to stand sideways and hold your hands up in front of you as if speaking with your hands. This makes it difficult to be pushed or hit. Stay far enough away so that the bully has to take several steps to come at you. This way you can see it coming. Don’t be afraid to turn away and leave. Run if you have to get to get away. Running away is not being a coward. Try to talk to the bully in a friendly way. Make sure you tell your teacher, parent, or any adult that you are being bullied. DON’T MAKE A FIST, OR THREATEN THE BULLY. STAY CALM!
