We use limited Korean terms to quickly get into positions. It’s handy because only we know the commands. Years ago, Korean or Japanese commands were used in competition. American terms have replaced Asian terms because we are Americans, and it’s easier and more natural to use our own language. The following terms are spelled in English to make the proper sound. Korean is written in characters.
