Soke Kinney and other representatives from Kinney Karate just attended the Eastern USA International Martial Arts Association’s 23rd Annual Global Leadership Conference on November 12-24. Here are some photographs and videos from the USA International Black Belt Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies. If you have any photos or videos from the event and would like us to post them, please send them to Kinney Karate.
National Anthem- Verrone Romeoletti -EUSAIMAA
Verrone Romeoletti Sings the National Anthem in front of an audience of 1000 at the Global Martial Arts Conference International Black Belt Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony held on November 14, 2010 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Michael Kinney filmed his performance with a shaky camera because he had to hold his hand over his heart, and since he was at the head table everyone was watching him. Please make sure that you listen to the end for the last few notes, and ignore the terrible panning by the cameraman.

Michael Kinney Receives his EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame Induction at the Global Martial Arts Conference From Legendary Black Belt Don Madden. Afterwards, Michael Kinney presents Susan Serota with her award. Director of the Association, Master of Ceremony, Soke John Kanzler reads both introductions. The event was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over the weekend of November 12-14. Fifteen Kinney Karate Students were in Attendance. Twelve were inducted. Four others were sponsored for nomination by Mr. KInney from New York.
John Ward From Ireland receives his EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame Induction
This is my friend John Ward from Dublin Ireland receiving his EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame Induction. Sorry for the Bad Angle but I was sitting in a bad place.
EARNIE REYNOLDS HEAD
Understandably confused at the sight of a telephone being used as a video camera, legendary martial artist Earnie Reynolds head is LOVINGLY pushed down as it interfered with the Master of Ceremonies. Dr. John Kanzler, director of the EUSAIMAA International Black Belt Hall of Fame Ceremony (held as part of the Global Martial Arts Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over the weekend of November 12th) was addressing over 1,000 attendees at the formal event and discussing the mission of the association. My apologies for man-handling you Mr. Reynolds, I just got carried away. Your friend and colleague, Soke Michael Kinney
Steve Eisman receives his EUSAIMAA Living Legend Award
Steve “the Power Master” Eisman receives his “Living Legend Award” at the Black Belt Hall of Fame Ceremony in Pittsburgh. Steve grew up in Maryland, as did Michael Kinney; they were young competitors during the same time period but never actually met. By coincidence, they met at this event 12 years ago and have been great friends ever since. Steve used an early picture of Michael Kinney doing a jump kick for a tournament he was promoting in the early seventies (how strange is that?). Congratulations to Mr. Living Legend Power Master from your Kinney Karate family here in Florida.
John Spink Induction
John Spink is inducted into the EUSAIMAA Black Belt Hall of Fame at the Global Martial Arts Conference held in Pittsburgh over the weekend of November 12th. John is a close friend of Michael Kinney and is considered a part of the Kinney Karate Family. John lives in Seminole, Florida. He has been a part of the Martial Arts community of Pinellas County for several decades but it took the event in Pittsburgh for he and Michael Kinney to meet 12 years ago. Since then, they have built a friendship of mutual respect. Congratulations, John.
